Chapter and Sanctuary Programs

CoastSavers

Washington CoastSavers are people actively engaged in saving Washington’s Pacific Coast from the harm of marine debris. The alliance of partners and volunteers are dedicated to keeping the state’s beaches clean of marine debris through coordinated beach cleanups, education and prevention.

Ocean Guardian Schools

An Ocean Guardian School makes a commitment to the protection and conservation of its local watersheds, the world's ocean, and special ocean areas, like national marine sanctuaries. The school makes this commitment by proposing and then implementing a school- or community-based conservation project.

Ocean Acidification Sentinel Site

Olympic Coast National Marine Sanctuary is a place where government, academic and citizen scientists work collectively and share information on sanctuary conditions and emerging threats, including ocean acidification.
